A night vigil in honour of St Theodot and the 7 virgin Martyrs
The faithful people from the monastery requested Abbot father Gavril to serve an all night vigil on the night on Friday the 30th of May when the Holy Church celebrates the memory of St. Theodot and the 7 virgin martyrs.
In the teaching of the Eulogy that was read, Father Gavril pointed out the need of a spiritual father, who, before all, should have good deeds so through his purified heart and illuminated mind he can recognise, accept and lead his spiritual child in the spiritual life and, at the end, take him/her, alive in front of the face of the Living God in the Heavenly Kingdom. That is our real homeland, from which the will of the spiritual father, as well as the honesty of the spiritual child, must work together. The spiritual child must have trust and must be obedient and have on mind that everything he/she hears from him as advice, should be received as it were God’s voice and do it. In its opposite, if we argue, dispute and look for justification, then we become fighters against God.
During the Holy Liturgy the faithful people partook in the Holy Mysteries of Christ.

Po barawe na vrnicite koi se vocrkovuvaat vo manatirot, igumenot otec Gavril, vo petokot no}ta na 30.05.08 sproti sabotata, koga Svetata Crkva go slavi spomenot na sv.Teodot i 7te devojki ma~eni~ki, otslu`i seno}no bdenie. Na poukata od pro~itanoto Evagelie, o.Gavril ja istakna potrebata od duhovniot otec, zad kogo, pred s#, treba da stojat negovite dobri dela, za da mo`e preku svoeto o~isteno srce i prosvetlen um da gi poznava, primi i vodi vo duhovniot `ivot svoite duhovni ~eda i, na kraj, da gi privede `ivi pred liceto na @iviot Bog vo Carstvoto Nebesno, koe e na{ata vistinska tatkovina, za {to osven voljata na duhovniot otec, potrebna e iskrenosta, doverbata i poslu{anieto na duhovnoto ~edo, i da znae deka s# {to }e slu{ne kako sovet od nego, treba da go prima kako glas Bo`ji i da go poslu{a, a vo sportivnost, ako negoduvame, protvre~ime ili barame svoe opravdanie, toga{ stanuvame borci protiv Boga.
Na svetata Liturgija verniot narod se pri~esti so Svetite Tajni Hristovi.
