On the day of Saint Apostle Akela and his wife Priscilla and the reverent Elyse, father Gavril served the Holy Divine Liturgy at the monastery of Saint Prohor Pchinski, on which many of the faithful people received the Holy Mysteries of Christ.

In the teaching of the Holy Gospel, father Gavril pointed out that we should be humble and strong in faith, like the paralytic in the Holy Gospel, who because of that, received forgiveness for his sins and healing of his disease.
