This year, the Macedonians from New Zealand had the joy the Christ’s Nativity to celebrate it together with the abbot of the monastery of St.Prohor Pchinski, father Gavril.

Christ is born, celebrate! Welcome Christ from the heaven! Sing to Christ on the earth! Sing joyfully to Lord, o whole world! Sing to Him, o people, because He acquired fame!

On Sunday, before Christ’s Nativity, when we celebrate the memory of Saint Anastasia the martyr, at the monastery of St. Prohor Pchinski was served a Holy Liturgy, on which the faithful partook in the Body and Blood of Christ.

On the eve of the last day of the calendar year to the new,  in rememberance of Saint Boniface the martyr, where the Acathist of Saint Righteous John from Kronostadt was read, at the monastery of Saint Prohor Pchinski an all night vigil was served.

On Sunday, when we celebrate the day of the memory of St. Eleutherios the Holy Martyr, a Holy Liturgy was served on which the faithful received the Holy Mysteries of Christ.
