The Divine Grace in the Monastery of Saint Prohor Pchinski
Whatever we say, it would not be sufficient to express in words the warmth of the Divine Grace which is felt in the monastery… that warmth and pleasure in the soul which I feel with the very thought of it, when I wish to go to the monastery, and after my arrival in it, with the first step I make in the yard of the monastery, in my soul I feel that I get wings, wings that raise me away from this world… I feel happiness and cheerfulness inside me, and at the same time I lose my feelings for any obligations I have in my life, as if those obligations are not mine, as if they never existed…
The soul itself inside me starts to take delight in the air that touches my face, in everything that my eye can see in front of me, in every pebble on the ground and in every leaf on the trees, even in the smallest murmur I can hear there, and my heart slowly starts to beat with happiness and safety in the same way like when I used to be in my mother’s embrace, like a child… It is so easy and simple to be in the monastery, as if I was born there, as if I have grown up and lived there all my life, as if I have spent the happiness of my childhood there … I do not know why… The only thing I know is that my soul yearns to go there again and again in order to experience all that joy and warmth of the Divine Grace which gushes out of the monastery… I even wish never to leave it, never to part from it, to be like one of those planted trees which live there…
The Divine Grace is alive and it lives in the monastery of Saint Prohor Pchinski. A man may not see it with the naked eye, but everyone who comes there, feels it inside him and rejoices without knowing of it…
Through the prayers of Saint Prohor Pchinski, God Jesus Christ have mercy on us!

So true, if only we stayed there forever…….
