On Thursday the 08th of July 2010, Abbot Gavril Galev from the monastery “St Prohor Pchinski”, Donnybrook-VIC, with blessing of the bishop Peter, had a lecture on the topic of “Byzantine Iconography from the Macedonian School” at “The University of Melbourne” in Victoria, Australia.

After six months of hard work, socializing and gaining new experience, ended the first Byzantine Icon Painting course at the monastery of St.Prohor Pchinski in Donnybrook, Australia.

On Meat fare Sunday, the faithful gathered to celebrate the memory of St. Nicephorus the Holy Martyr, at the monastery of St. Prohor Pchinski. The Divine Liturgy was served, where the faithful received the Body and the Blood of Christ.
